DISCOVERY - TREATMENT - RESULT
This sequence of photographs shows the initial discovery of a wasp nest in a bush. DPPM were called in to deal with the problem and here we can see the pest control operator in protective clothing, spraying insecticide into the nest.

Within minutes the number of wasps lesson until just a few are left. Finally, the last one or two covered in powder drop to the floor.

Nests can be found anywhere, lofts, bushes, trees, old sheds and even around the guttering of a house. This is not a job for the amateur and protective clothing is always required.

LOCATE HOLES - CHECK STRUCTURE - CHECK LAND
DPPM were called in to deal with an infestation of rats on a farm. The burrows covered a steep bank and right up to the walls of an out-building, both of which were under threat of subsidence.
The pest control operator applied a suitable bait to each of the rat holes - even though some were not easy to reach on the steep bank and amongst the foliage.
Regular inspections by DPPM were made to check on progress and remove any dead bodies.

INVESTIGATE PROBLEM - KILL THOSE TO HAND - FOLLOW UP TREATMENT
On this occasion DPPM were called in to investigate an infestation of cockroaches.
A survey revealed a multitude of empty shell casing and cockroach droppings, and sticky pads showed this to be a severe infestation that was in need of immediate attention.
The pest control operator, laid down a suitable insecticide to every possible hiding place to deal with the current live cockroaches, and applied another insecticide to act against any emerging pest that the operator was unable to locate.
